      Our client asked us to provide a calculation about shell buckling of a storage tankAPI 65.
      Would you mind helping me with providing references about shell buckling calculation.
      I search for buckling allowable stress in API. 620 or 650
      Do any one have aSAP example file to check the shell buckling?
      Dos any one can help me to model ir in SAP 2000 ?

        Shell buckling against wind loads is in section 5.9. Is that what you are looking for?

        Every Design of shell plate, must be including to checking of shell buckling and overturning stability of Shell plate, and please you try calculation follows API 650, paragraph 5.9.7.1 The maximum height of the unstiffened and 5.11 Wind Load on Tanks.

          I want to find shell local bucklind calculation under axial load such as vacuum force,roof and structure weights regarding the fact that it is a dome roof storage tank without any legs.
