Dear Friends,

I was just going through API 650 Table 5.2a for permissible plate material & allowable stress in column three for plate thickness up to 100 mm is specified.But correct me if i am wrong as per API 650 maximum shell thickness should 45 mm. This table is some what confusing me.

Please clarify this.
