Any one knows or could suggest me where can I find information about this topic? I mean manuals, standards or documents I can review.

Basically, design of shell plate must be including to checking of shell buckling and overturning stability of Shell plate, and the calculation follows API 650, paragraph 5.9.7.1 the maximum height of the unstiffened and 5.11 Wind Load on Tanks.
While this issue to expanded become knowledge, base on site experience with learning by doing, of course every one has the technical idea for this purpose, depending to site conditions, some time someone call, the technical specification, technical procedure or others.
From this idea, during construction someone will be used strong back as temporary stiffener, or with Storm Guys method, or may be by others??

Best regards,
Karsadi
