Where a cryogenic tank designed to API 620 Appendix Q uses ASTM A516 Gr 60 material can the properties taken from the mill certificate be used in a design assessment?
We have heard that there is a caveat somewhere in API 620 allowing use of actual material values for design assessment. Does anybody know where the relevant section in API 620 can be found?
