Does anyone has a picture of how an acceptable fit up should really look like, API650 shows a sketch (Figure 3-3B) and par 3.1.5.4 at the end of the paragraph states that they shall form a smooth bearing. Shouldnt the code be more precise or to indicate at least a minimum bent radious and length for the inspector to verify and enforce? Regards
